Drinks Empire Company is a UK-based FMCG distributor exporting beverages, confectionery, detergents and personal care products in container loads to importers, wholesalers and distributors across Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
We are a UK exporter, not a local trading company. Goods are sourced in the UK and Europe and shipped from UK ports, which means you buy authentic, brand-original stock with traceable supply and UK export documentation.
What we distribute
Our range runs to over 5,700 lines. For export buyers building mixed containers, the categories that move fastest are:
- Soft drinks — Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Fanta, Sprite, 7Up, Schweppes, Mirinda and Lipton Ice Tea
- Energy drinks — Red Bull, Monster, Prime, Lucozade, Rockstar and Power Horse
- Spirits and beer — including Hennessy, Johnnie Walker, Guinness and Heineken
- Confectionery — biscuits, chocolate and sweets
- Detergents and cleaning products — laundry, dishwashing and household
- Cosmetics and personal care
- Bottled water — still and sparkling mineral water in glass and PET
Mixed containers across these categories are normal for us, not an exception. Consolidating alcohol, soft drinks and household lines into one shipment lowers your landed cost per unit compared with sourcing each category separately.
Shipping terms
We quote on FOB, CIF and DAP.
- FOB — we handle delivery to the UK port, export clearance and loading. You arrange freight, insurance, import clearance and duty. Suits buyers with their own freight forwarder.
- CIF — we arrange freight and insurance to your destination port. You handle import clearance, duty and onward delivery. Suits buyers wanting a single landed price to port.
- DAP — we deliver to your named place. You cover import duty and taxes. Suits buyers wanting minimal handling.

Lead times and documentation
Export orders typically ship within 2–3 weeks, allowing for documentation and container consolidation. Timings depend on destination, paperwork and sailing schedules — we confirm a specific date with every quote rather than leaving you to assume.
Alcohol leaving the UK is not subject to UK excise duty, though your destination country will levy its own. Import duty, taxes and any product registration in the destination market are the buyer’s responsibility.
